Harper's Fund
(Emergency Rescue & Medical Expense Fund)
If you read our recent post about our dog resident, Franco, you may be aware that we see many cases which require extreme veterinary care walk through the doors of ICHS. While it is so rewarding to take on these cases and to see these animals recover and blossom into their true selves, doing so does not come without a cost. However, we are so thankful to be able to announce that we have received a generous donation of $5000 to kick off our new medical fund for these types of veterinary care cases. We will be calling this fund, “Harper’s Fund”. Harper is the doners’ son’s rescue dog. She was rescued from a high kill rate shelter. Today, Harper is still persevering through challenging situations. Recently she has been facing some of her own health issues and at the end of this month, Harper will have an appointment to have a tumor removed. Until then she is receiving medication. Because of this Harper and her family unfortunately understand firsthand just how expensive vet care can be.
You can now join Harper and her family in helping our animal residents going through intensive veterinary care. Our current residents who have benefited from urgent or emergency vet care include Franco, Mickey, and Zoey. All the ICHS residents that benefit from Harper’s fund thank you immensely. We couldn’t do what we do without help from people like YOU
