Don’t judge a dog based on how they act in a kennel, or the first time you meet. No matter what rescue you are visiting. Even the nicest dogs can go a bit crazy when people walk through or meet someone new. This causes a lot of dogs to be overlooked and not given the chance they deserve. At ICHS, we take the dogs out of the kennels to meet you. Some don’t like our process in doing this, but it is better for our dogs and you! We want to be able to match you with the perfect dog. We do this by asking you questions and working with you to find the best match for your lifestyle and environment. We don’t force adoptions. We are looking for permanent, forever loving homes. Please give them a chance. Take your time with the adoption process. They are worth it. ❤️
It takes a village to care for so many animals and to give them the best temporary home possible.
